Elise is the Head Athletic Trainer (ATC, LAT) at DBC Fitness. She plays a multi-faceted role, blending rehabilitation, personal training, and elite performance coaching. She conducts detailed orthopedic assessments, develops corrective exercise programs, and trains clients with an emphasis on quality, purposeful movement. Using science-driven methodologies and hands-on coaching, she strives to improve movement, reduce injury risk, and improve quality of life and performance.

Education & Early Career

Elise earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training, where she developed a strong foundation in injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation. After graduation, she gained invaluable experience working with D.C. United in Major League Soccer, where she honed her skills in performance training, rehab & recovery, and load-management.

She later pursued a master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Miami. Her experience as a research assistant in the biomechanics lab spurred her interest in exercise and human movement. During this time, she worked as an athletic trainer at a high school before transitioning to DBC, where she could combine her passion for athletic training with advanced sports performance coaching.

Education & Consulting

In addition to her hands-on training, Elise serves as an educator and consultant. She teaches the DBC Level 1 Human Movement and Biomechanics course.

Elise provides consulting services for athletes, agents, and health/fitness professionals. She works with professional athletes preparing for combines, pre-season, and in-season performance, ensuring they stay healthy and competitive. She also works directly with coaches, trainers, and therapists, helping them deepen their knowledge of human movement and injury/rehabilitation techniques.

Above & Beyond

Elise is passionate about continuous learning and innovation in the health and fitness world. She is particularly interested in the integration of AI, wearable fitness tracking, and biomechanics to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury. Her next goal is to expand her education platform, offering online courses and in-person seminars.

With a strong foundation in her field and widely respected by peers, Elise is dedicated to helping athletes and professionals move better, train smarter, and stay injury-free for the long run.
